After defeating the Demon King, Himmel and his crew return triumphantly to the capital. They reflect on the past ten years of their adventures and consider their future lives. The elf Frieren is unimpressed by this conclusion and sets off on another quest for magic. Fifty years later, Frieren returns to the Royal Capital to fulfill a promise she made to everyone. This reunion leads her on a new journey.
