Ep. 1: Yomogi meets Gauma the Kaiju User and faces a mysterious date with Yume Minami

High school student Yomogi Asanaka helps a hungry stranger named Gauma, who reveals he is a Kaiju User. Yomogi accepts a date invitation from Yume Minami, despite her reputation for ditching partners. As strange floating phenomena occur in the city, Yume fails to show up for the meeting. Gauma confronts Yume about her broken promise, leading to her admission of personal issues. A Kaiju suddenly appears in the city center. Gauma summons the robot Dynazenon, which requires four pilots. The robot absorbs Gauma, Yomogi, Yume, and a nearby NEET named Koyomi Yamanaka, while Chise Asukagawa watches. Gauma pilots Dynazenon alone to fight the Kaiju. When the enemy gains the advantage, Gauma transforms Dynazenon into its Dyna Rex form to easily defeat the monster.
