Ep. 4: Yomogi’s Heart Flutters as Kaiju Eugenicists Reveal Their True Nature

Yomogi struggles to focus, leading Inamoto to suspect a crush on Yume. Yume seeks information from Kanae and Urita regarding Kano’s performances. Sizumu, a Kaiju Eugenicist, transfers to their class, explaining that kaiju emerge from human desires for freedom rather than being created. Yomogi falls ill with a cold, forcing Gauma, Yume, and Koyomi to depart without him. Yume pilots Dyna Soldier with Chise’s assistance but requires Yomogi to combine into Dynazenon to defeat a kaiju that turns objects into two-dimensional forms. After the battle, Yomogi asks to join Yume on her next visit to Urita. The following day, Yume misses class because she has contracted Yomogi’s illness.
