Ep. 2: Rintaro interacts with an AI version of Kurisu based on her memories from eight months ago.

During a wait for Amadeus to load, Rintaro defends Kurisu’s research against a doubter, gaining Leskinen’s approval. Maho unveils Amadeus, an AI replica of herself created four days ago using her memories, which demonstrates independent decision-making and human-like behavior. After the seminar, Rintaro reveals to Maho that he was Kurisu’s friend. Consequently, Leskinen and Maho invite him to speak with an Amadeus version of Kurisu, constructed from her memories eight months ago before her death. Upon visiting Maho’s lab, Rintaro meets this AI Kurisu and is surprised by her differing views on time machines compared to the original. Leskinen and Maho then recruit Rintaro as a temporary tester, installing an app on his phone to facilitate conversations with Amadeus Kurisu for data collection.
