Three teams remain in Squad Jam as Llenn and M encounter an enemy squad utilizing hovercraft. M employs sniper tactics and a shield for protection, eliminating the opposition without depending on game assist systems. The pair is then suddenly ambushed by the final team, SHINC, forcing them to retreat to a mountainous region. Once there, M reads a letter and subsequently attempts to kill Llenn.
