Ep. 3: Luke's Heritage Revealed Amidst Griffin Assault and Knight Ambush

Luke discloses his lineage as the duke of Kimlasca’s son and accepts a mission to deliver a peace treaty. En route, the Tartarus faces a massive attack by Griffins and Ligers led by Largo the Black Lion. Jade sustains a fon slot seal injury but defeats Largo, while Anise and Fon Master Ion attempt to escape. Ion is captured by Oracle Knights, and Anise is thrown from the ship. Luke, Tear, and Jade survive a bridge ambush by disabling the Tartarus. They successfully rescue Ion with help from Guy, a servant from Fabre's manor who displays a fear of women. During a subsequent attack by Oracle Knights, Luke refuses to kill soldiers, causing Tear to be wounded while protecting him.
