The woman identifies herself as Tear Grants. Luke and Tear subsequently secure transportation to the capital city, marking the beginning of their journey together.

Oct 5, 2008Luke and Tear arrive in Malkuth, where Luke is accused of food theft. They meet Mayor Rose, Fon Master Ion, and Anise. The group travels to Cheagle Woods to confront cheagles, accompanied by Ion. They discover that Mieu, a cheagle, accidentally burned the ligers' home. The cheagles stole food to offer for their captured comrades. Ion, Luke, and Tear speak with the Liger Queen. Mieu acts as translator. With help from Colonel Jade, they defeat the queen. Mieu is exiled and must serve Luke for a full cycle of the seasons. Luke and Tear are subsequently arrested by the Malkuth military.
EP 3Luke's Heritage Revealed Amidst Griffin Assault and Knight Ambush
Oct 12, 2008Luke discloses his lineage as the duke of Kimlasca’s son and accepts a mission to deliver a peace treaty. En route, the Tartarus faces a massive attack by Griffins and Ligers led by Largo the Black Lion. Jade sustains a fon slot seal injury but defeats Largo, while Anise and Fon Master Ion attempt to escape. Ion is captured by Oracle Knights, and Anise is thrown from the ship. Luke, Tear, and Jade survive a bridge ambush by disabling the Tartarus. They successfully rescue Ion with help from Guy, a servant from Fabre's manor who displays a fear of women. During a subsequent attack by Oracle Knights, Luke refuses to kill soldiers, causing Tear to be wounded while protecting him.
EP 4Tear awakens and the party heads to Kaitzur after Anise moves there.
Oct 19, 2008Tear recovers from an attack and joins the group, who learn Anise has traveled to Kaitzur. Luke discovers Van is also there and rushes to join him. Upon meeting Anise, who lacks her passport, Van enters while Tear readies her weapon, creating tension. Ion updates Van on recent events, though Tear distrusts her brother. Mohs has tasked Tear with finding the Seventh Fonstone. Arietta kidnaps an engineer at Kaitzur Port, demanding Luke and Ion be brought to Coral Castle. Ion agrees to help two young men rescue the engineer. Inside the castle, Guy reacts strangely to Anise’s hug. Luke is soon kidnapped, and the group faces Arietta the Wild and her monsters, learning the Liger Queen they killed was her mother. Dist and Sync tamper with Luke while the others fight. Guy pursues Sync, who flees, and gives Sync’s dropped fon disc to a shocked Jade. The party then leaves Kaitzur for Baticul.
EP 5Jade explains Fon Disc secrets while Dist attacks and Luke faces political duties in Baticul.
Oct 26, 2008Jade reveals the Fon Disc holds data on Lorelei, the hypothetical Seventh Fonon sentience, forcing Luke to recover lost memories of his parents. An unknown fontech signature attacks the ship, revealing Dist the Reaper, a God-General who demands the disc back. After Dist snatches it, he learns Jade memorized the contents, prompting Jade to damage Dist’s Kaizer Dist R with Splash. Van destroys the fontech, sending Dist into the ocean, while Luke experiences a frightening hyperresonance episode. Van explains his isolation was due to the King wanting to use him as a weapon. The group arrives in Baticul, meeting Commander Goldberg and Brigadier General Cecille, and interrupts a meeting between King Ingobert and Grand Maestro Mohs regarding a letter from Emperor Peony the Ninth. Luke visits his ill mother with Tear, then accepts a role as Kimlasca’s ambassador to Akzeriuth to aid Malkuth. Van later reveals he kidnapped Luke previously and urges him to flee to Daath, a conversation overheard by Princess Natalia.
EP 6Dark Wings capture Ion while Luke pursues Asch to the Zao ruins.
Nov 2, 2008The Dark Wings seize Fon Master Ion and present him to Asch the Bloody, who resembles Luke. Luke and his companions prepare to depart for Akzeriuth, with Van taking a decoy ship while the group travels to Chesedonia by land. Discovering that God-Generals guard the city exit, they navigate an underground passage where Princess Natalia joins them. Asch brings Ion to the other God-Generals on the Tartarus, leading to a confrontation with Luke. Shocked by Asch's identical appearance, Luke watches as Asch and the God-Generals escape. Asch uses a telepathic link to instruct Luke and his friends to follow them to the Zao ruins.
EP 7Luke and companions face Sync and Largo at Zao Ruins while Asch fights Luke.
Nov 9, 2008Luke and his party reach the Zao Ruins, where Asch attempts to use Ion to open the Daathic Seal. Sync and Largo intervene, battling the group to stop their progress. Asch joins the conflict, engaging Luke in a sword duel where their techniques perfectly mirror each other. A final clash creates a hyperresonance that endangers the ruins, forcing everyone to flee. Later, as the group prepares to board their ship, Guy collapses with a strange glyph on his arm, which Ion identifies as a curse slot placed by Sync. Legretta confronts the party, criticizing their blind adherence to the Score before departing. Luke then has a childish outburst, prompting Tear to coldly advise him to think independently, warning that failure to do so will lead to an irreversible mistake.
EP 8Luke and Ion meet Van in a tunnel, triggering Akzeriuth's collapse into the Qlipoth.
Nov 16, 2008Luke and companions reach Akzeriuth to address the miasma. In tunnel 14, Van guides them to a Sephiroth, urging Luke to release hyperreasonance by calling him a foolish replica. Luke opens his fon slots, destroying the passage ring and causing Akzeriuth to collapse. Tear warns Jade and Asch, then confronts Van, whom she calls Mystearica, about his betrayal and the world's folly. After Tear rescues the group, they fall into the Qlipoth and enter the Tartarus. Tear explains their location is the Outer world. Luke denies responsibility for destroying the supporting Sephiroth, leading others to abandon him except for Mieu. At Yulia City, Luke avoids the Mayor's office. Asch reveals Luke is his replica, causing Luke to lose control and easily defeat him.
EP 9Luke wakes in Asch's body and the party investigates Belkend and Ortion Cave
Nov 23, 2008Luke awakens in Asch's body after Dist and Sync open his fon slots at Choral Castle. The group travels to Belkend, where they discover Spinoza is still active and Jade is revealed to be Dr. Balfour. Spinoza escapes, leaving clues about Van's preservation project and Ortion Cave. Guy leaves the party at Aramis Spring. Asch dreams of his kidnapping seven years ago. The team finds fonimin in Ortion Cave, covering a tenth of Auldrant, and discovers removed Hod resident data. An earthquake signals the falling of the Southern Runica Plains. Luke returns to his body and confronts Tear about Akeriuth's destruction. She accuses him of shifting blame. Luke accepts his shortcomings, resolves to change, and cuts his hair as proof.
EP 10Luke confronts Mayor Teodoro about Akzeriuth's destruction before rescuing Ion and Natalia from the Oracle.
Nov 30, 2008Luke and Tear visit Mayor Teodoro, where Luke admits to destroying Akzeriuth. Teodoro identifies Luke as a replica and notes that this event was recorded in the Closed Score, accessible only to Maestro class individuals or higher. When Tear warns that Van is attempting to destroy the Outer Lands, Teodoro defends Van’s role as a watcher. Realizing Teodoro will not cooperate, Luke and Tear return to the Outer Lands. Upon reaching Aramis Spring, they encounter Guy. After departing, they meet Jade, who reports that Ion and Natalia have been captured by Oracle knights. The group travels to Daath to find Anise, infiltrates the Oracle headquarters, and successfully rescues the captives before escaping.
EP 11Tartarus Stops at Keterburg Bay Where Jade Reveals His Dark Past
Dec 7, 2008The Tartarus suffers an engine failure and docks at Keterburg Bay for repairs. Jade, Dist, and Emperor Peony of Malkuth share a connection to this city. Jade meets his sister Nephry, the governor, to arrange the repairs. Stranded, Jade confides in Luke about his history with Dist, formerly known as Saphir. They previously experimented with replication and fonic artes. Jade accidentally unleashed an uncontrollable fonic arte that killed his instructor, Professor Nebilim. This tragedy drove Jade to pursue fomicry research to recreate Nebilim, though he failed. Adopted by a military family, he gathered battlefield corpse data, earning the title "the Necromancer." Once the ship is fixed, Luke and the group depart for Grand Chokmah.
EP 12Luke and allies face lockdown in Grand Chokmah, war declaration, and sinking city rescue
Dec 14, 2008Luke and his companions reach Grand Chokmah but are barred from entry during a security lockdown. Jade enters as a Malkuth military colonel while the group waits outside, where they are attacked by Largo. Sync activates Guy’s curse slot, forcing him to attack Luke until the military intervenes and the attackers retreat. Ion explains the curse requires a strong desire to kill, leading Luke to question his past actions. Guy reveals he is from the Island of Hod, where Luke’s father destroyed the city. Kimlasca then declares war on Malkuth after meeting Emperor Peony. To prevent further conflict, the group volunteers to rescue citizens from St. Binah before it sinks into the Qliphoth. They save most people, but many remain trapped as the land submerges. Just as Luke despairs over his failure, an airship arrives to help complete the rescue mission.
EP 13The group splits to stop the Malkuth-Kimlasca war, but Natalia faces exposure as a false princess in Baticul.
Dec 21, 2008Upon returning from a rescue mission, the party discovers open conflict between Malkuth and Kimlasca. To negotiate peace, they divide: Jade, Anise, and Ion visit Emperor Peony in Malkuth, while Luke, Natalia, Tear, Guy, and Mieu travel to Kimlasca. In Baticul, Grand Maestro Mohs reveals Natalia is an impostor; the royal infant died in childbirth, and her attendant Merly was substituted to spare the queen grief. Accused of treason and complicity in Akzeriuth’s destruction, the group is imprisoned. Guy and Tear are jailed, while Luke and Natalia are given poison for a dignified suicide. Luke smashes the glasses, allowing Asch to free the others, who then rescue Luke and Natalia from their confinement.
EP 14The group seeks a solution to the sinking lands while Guy confronts his past with Van.
Dec 28, 2008Natalia, Luke, Tear, and Guy escape Baticul to join Jade in Belken, aiming to halt the land sinking into the Qliphoth. They discover vibrations from Auldrant's core, driven by the Planet Storm system, cause the liquefaction. Since shutting down the system disables fonic arts, they seek an alternative. In Belken, Guy meets Van, his former student, and dismisses him after Van refuses to abandon his plans. The team travels to Daath to measure a Sephiroth tree, encountering Anise's mother who shields Ion from Arietta's attack, sparing herself minor injury. This event triggers Guy's traumatic memory of his family's death, explaining his fear of women. Ion analyzes the score, noting Luke's replica was not original, and locates a tree in Tataroo Valley. During the journey, Guy saves Anise from a cliff, realizing he touched a female. At the tree, Tear restarts the passage ring by circling it, but Luke finds her kneeling in apparent pain as Guy takes measurements.
EP 15The group returns to Belkend with measurements revealing Sephiroth tree weakness
Jan 9, 2009The group returns to Belkend with measurements indicating Sephiroth trees have weakened, threatening to pull the land into the Qliphoth. Jade proposes using the Tartarus to drop a vibration-stopping device into the core, allowing safe descent into the miasma. Luke urges King Ingobert and Emperor Peony to cooperate, while Natalia hesitates to return to Baticul. That night, Asch meets Natalia at the coast, renewing their childhood promise to change their country, which gives her courage. Tear expresses regret over separating Asch and Natalia, but reminds Luke of his own life. The group enters Baticul via Ion, where Natalia pleads with her father to stop the war. Despite Mohs' interference, Ingobert acknowledges Natalia as his daughter and agrees to the peace treaty with Malkuth. The treaty is signed in Yulia City, but Guy interrupts to question Ingobert about Hod. Peony reveals Malkuth destroyed Hod using Van, a test subject who caused hyperresonance at age 11 to hide Kimlasca’s research.
EP 16The Core Entry Operation
Jan 16, 2009The group installs a device on the Tartarus to escape the core, but Major Legretta and the Oracle Knights block the port. Builders sacrifice themselves to delay the pursuers, while Van reveals his plan to destroy the world using replicas. Inside the core, the team confronts Synch, who shatters his mask to reveal he is a discarded replica of Ion. Ion explains that Van created multiple copies of the dying original Fon Master Ion, discarding the weaker ones. Synch chooses to jump into the core rather than continue serving Van. As the group flees, Luke collapses after hearing Lorelei’s voice, which claims Luke is a perfect isofon. Tear attempts to heal Luke but collapses after Lorelei possesses her. The survivors escape in the Albiore, but Tear remains unconscious because her body absorbed contaminated seventh fonons from the Passage Rings, a condition that will prove fatal if it continues.
EP 17The group activates passage rings while confronting Van and facing a deadly trap at the final ring.
Jan 23, 2009The party agrees to bring Tear to lower the lands, as she alone can activate the passage rings. Spinoza apologizes for his past actions and joins the mission. Luke confronts Tear about her willingness to die, refusing to leave her side. They reach the Meggiora Highlands, where Tear activates a ring but collapses. At desert ruins, she faints after activating another ring. Spinoza confirms they can seal the miasma, leaving only one Sephiroth remaining. Van reads the Seventh Fonstone and asks Tear to join him, but she refuses. Asch attacks Van and is wounded. Van challenges Asch’s desire to save a world that caused him despair. Tear tells Van to kill her to create a replica. Van retreats, telling Asch to meet him at the Absorption Gate. The group travels through Keterberg, where Jade hands Dist to the military police. Ion and Luke discuss their nature as replicas. Legretta, Arietta, and Largo attack. Jade causes an avalanche to protect the group. They reach the final ring, but it triggers a trap that accelerates the land collapse.
EP 18Luke and Tear confront Van at the Absorption Gate and face the aftermath of the war.
Jan 30, 2009Stranded in Keterberg by a snowstorm, Luke apologizes to Natalia for failing to recall Asch’s promise, prompting her to make him swear it anew. He later confides in Guy about his reluctance to fight Van. The group reaches the Absorption Gate, where an earthquake separates Luke and Tear from the others. They encounter Van, who reveals Luke was created as a disposable pawn to disrupt a predetermined score. After a battle where Luke hesitates to kill Van, the rest of the group arrives to assist. Luke defeats Van, who then jumps into the core. With Asch’s aid, Luke uses hyperresonance to reverse the ring. A month later, the war has ended. Luke, feeling aimless in Baticul, visits Tear at Van’s grave. They discover Van’s sword is missing, suspecting a Six-God General survives, and decide to travel to Daath to consult Ion.
EP 19Luke and allies confront Anise and Mohs at the Sephiroth to stop Ion's fatal ritual.
Feb 6, 2009In Daath, Luke and Tear reunite with Anise to meet Ion, learning of Dist’s prison escape and Malkuth’s troops being attacked by unknown forces bearing Kimlascan banners. General Frings reports his soldiers had empty eyes. The group suspects a frame-up and seeks King Inogbert, but Anise flees after collapsing from miasma. They encounter Natalia, who confirms the attack, leading Jade to suspect replicas are impersonating both kingdoms to restart the war. Tear collapses again, and Ion offers to remove the miasma but is interrupted by Anise, who drags him away. Arietta reveals Anise took Ion to the Sephiroth in the cathedral to read the Seventh Fonstone, which would kill him. The group finds Anise and Mohs, who holds Anise’s parents hostage. Mohs and Anise escape with Ion, leaving Arietta behind. Luke’s group fights replicas of familiar people, including Guy’s sister, while Tear uses a fonic hymn, causing another collapse. A letter on Anise’s doll guides them to Mount Zaleho. Ion reads the score for Luke to help him find his path, then transfers the miasma from Tear into himself. Ion dies, telling Anise he understands her actions. Back in Daath, Anise explains Mohs enslaved her via her parents’ debts, and Luke comforts her.
EP 20Arietta challenges Anise to a duel in the Cheagle woods over Ion's death.
Feb 13, 2009Arietta blames Anise for Ion's death and demands a battle. Flashbacks reveal her first meeting with Ion and their time together, noting she never knew the real Ion had died and believed the replica was the same person. Anise accepts the challenge, and they meet in the Cheagle woods. While Luke and the others fight Arietta's animal friends, Anise and Arietta engage in combat. Anise ultimately wins the fight, resulting in Arietta's death. Largo, who acted as referee, carries Arietta's body away and vows to avenge her.
EP 21Asch heads to the Tower of Rem to sacrifice replicas for hyperresonance against the miasma.
Feb 20, 2009Miasma levels on Auldrant approach critical points, leaving Kimlasca and Malkuth without a solution. Jade proposes using an amplified hyperresonance to destroy the miasma globally, requiring the Sword of Lorelei and Seventh Fonons equivalent to 10,000 living Seventh Fonists. Asch overhears this plan and decides to use replicas, which also contain Seventh Fonons, as fuel. These zombie-like replicas, formerly serving Mohs, are gathering at the Tower of Rem in the Qliphoth. Asch travels there to sacrifice them for his hyperresonance. Luke and his companions realize Asch’s intent and race to the tower. They arrive just after Asch, who has already begun his ascent up the tower structure.
EP 22Luke and Asch unite to remove Miasma while Luke accepts his fate as the sacrifice.
Feb 27, 2009Luke and his companions rush to the tower summit to prevent Asch from sacrificing himself and the Replicas to eliminate Miasma. Dist reappears in a new machine, but Jade defeats him with Mystic Cage. Asch leaves the decision of self-sacrifice to the Replicas. At Kimlasca, Jade proposes using Luke to save Asch. Despite Tear’s efforts to dissuade him, Luke chooses this path. The Replicas agree to proceed if those outside the tower survive. As Luke begins the transference with the Key of Lorelei, Asch assists him. Their teamwork reveals the Jewel of Lorelei within Luke as his body fades. Miasma vanishes completely. Asch departs, and Jade urges Luke to seek examination in Belkend. Luke admits he is dying, a secret overheard only by Tear and Mieu.
EP 23Natalia learns her father Largo is alive while Luke's group splits to reach Auldrant.
Mar 6, 2009Natalia discovers her father, Largo the Black Lion, is alive and was allied with Fon Master Mohs. Luke, Natalia, and Guy travel to the radiation gate, while Tear, Jade, and Anise head to the absorption gate. At the radiation gate, Luke and Natalia confront Largo, who reveals he is Badaq. Natalia shoots Largo to save Luke, and he dies, noting her resemblance to her mother. Meanwhile, at the absorption gate, Fon Master Mohs returns Van from the core in exchange for the seventh fonstone. Van explains his resurrection, prompting Tear and the others to prepare for battle. Tear defeats Mohs using Holy Cross. Finally, Luke charges the key with seventh fonons, opening the path to Eldrant.
EP 24The shield falls as Eldrant faces assault while allies prepare for the final push.
Mar 13, 2009With Mohs and Largo dead and the Planet Storm stopped, the shield around Eldrant is down, though heavy anti-aircraft artillery remains. Kimlasca and Malkuth prepare for an attack while Luke and others ready themselves. Guy abandons his quest for vengeance, and Natalia accepts her birth father's death. Luke and Asch quarrel over the reason for their existence. Military forces from both countries create a diversion to draw fire from Eldrant's defenses. As the city attempts to ram the Albiore, Ginji crashes the Albiore III into the city side, creating an opening. The party heads for the newly made entrance to Eldrant while Van awaits their arrival.
