On a hot summer day, Ohta and Tanaka visit a public pool. While Ohta intends to swim, Tanaka, who cannot swim, simply wants to cool off. During his stretches, Tanaka suffers a cramp, but under Ohta’s supervision, he enjoys the water using a tube. Two young children later tease Tanaka, causing his tube to rip. A few days afterward, Miyano seeks Tanaka’s advice regarding wearing a yukata for an upcoming fireworks display. Together with Shiraishi, the group decides to visit a kimono store to prepare for the event.
