Families prepare for a festival only to find school gates closed and the gym locked. The chairman confronts the group, but Tayoru stands up to him to allow the event to proceed. Naoko supports this by enlisting the vocal group and wind instrument club to perform Wakana's song. The musical takes place before many guests. Afterward, Wien receives a postcard from Jan, while Sawa leaves for an equestrian school abroad, upsetting Taichi who had feelings for her. Wakana and Naoko later reminisce about Mahiru, with Wakana asking Naoko to teach her more music. Eventually, everyone graduates and moves toward their futures.
