During the school festival, the Paranormal Investigations Club investigates rumors of Akahito, a masked monster sacrificing late students. The threat appears real when Yuko Kirishima claims an attack, causing hysteria. Teiichi uncovers that Kirishima fabricated the legend to combat bullying related to her name. She then manipulates her peers into believing they must sacrifice Yuko to stop the monster, but they mistakenly target Kirishima instead. The club intervenes, having Yuko disguise as Akahito to drive the students away. Kirishima apologizes to Yuko before departing. Meanwhile, Kirie and Momoe exit the bell tower after assisting with the scare, only for Kirie to encounter a shadow ghost.
