Naofumi determines that the released monster is targeting Filo, so he decides to lead it far away from the city to minimize damage to the crowd. He leaves the rescued demi-humans in Reichnott's care. Naofumi and his companions soon realize they are no match for the monster. Just then, a herd of Filolials surrounds them and their leader appears before them. It remains unclear whether this leader is an ally or a new enemy.
