Moss and Bonnie converse with Lag during a carriage ride before being pursued by Frank’s gang. Bonnie claims Frank desired her, but she loves Moss. Niche defeats the gang, yet an ambush forces them from the vehicle. Frank demands stolen spirit ambers, revealing the couple as thieves. Bonnie asserts she sought funds to enter Akatsuki with Moss. Niche rescues them from execution. Lag confiscates the ambers, condemning their theft. His spirit amber reacts with Bonnie’s gun, exposing her betrayal and true lover in Akatsuki. Moss refrains from killing her. Bonnie attacks Lag but flees after Niche intervenes. Moss thanks Lag for the truth before departing heartbroken.
