Ep. 2: Kamina Claims Control of the Gunman Named Gurren

Kamina and Simon escort Yoko to her home village of Littner while wielding the mysterious Lagann. Their presence on the surface world draws them into a conflict involving a new Gunman threat and the Beastmen who operate these machines. During the ensuing battle, Kamina forcibly ejects one of the Beastmen from his vehicle. He then takes command of the abandoned Gunman, officially naming it Gurren. This sequence of events marks a significant shift in their capabilities as they engage with the local dangers and assert dominance over the enemy mechs.
