While Yuri mourns and pities herself, a Student Angel attacks her on Aikawa's orders, but Mayuko intervenes. Aikawa plans to defeat Yuri's team, prompting Yuri to vow to kill him to end the world. Aikawa dispatches Kusakabe, Swimmer, and the Archangel to assassinate Yuri's allies. Kusakabe recalls how the Archangel's belief that killing is justice made him controllable by Aikawa. Yoshida's Angels track Kusakabe, Archangel, and Rika, with reports reaching Yuri as the enemy squad closes in. Aohara extracts information from a student and claims he can halt an Angel for a second. Uzuki supports allying with Yuri as they prepare for battle. Before Makoto shoots Kusakabe, Uzuki reveals she is his mother. Swimmer and Archangel fight Yuri, Ein, and Mayuko, but Aikawa activates Archangel's full power. Claiming Yuri's team are his subordinates stopping him, Aikawa causes Archangel to chase him, with Mayuko and Ein following, while Yuri battles Swimmer.
