Feb 25, 2021Yuri Honjo finds herself stranded on interconnected building roofs with no way down. After witnessing masked figures driving people to suicide, she is attacked by a Mask who destroys her phone. A police officer saves her but is then murdered by another officer, Mizushita, who subsequently assaults Yuri. A masked sniper intervenes, killing Mizushita. Yuri burns the body and takes his weapon. She encounters a Mask in a maid outfit and shoots it, learning that Masks are humans following orders from a God Command. The Command orders the Mask to commit suicide. Shaken by these revelations, Yuri vows to defeat the God Command. She spots a helicopter capable of transporting one person out of the world at specific intervals and heads toward it, only to find a girl threatening a man without a mask.

Suspecting Mayuko abandoned her, Yuri moves to another building and encounters three Masks. After two Masks kill each other, Mayuko provides cover while fighting the third. Yuri and Mayuko shoot the final Mask, who then commits suicide.

Later, Takeda dies when a baseball pitcher Mask attacks Okihara and Rika. The pitcher claims Rika is not a God in this realm, but Okihara kills him. Rika vows to destroy the new world, believing it is evil. Meanwhile, the Sniper attempts to drive a girl to suicide until the God Command reveals she is destined to become God and the realm is a facility for her creation.

A Sniper accompanies Kuon, addressing her as Mr. Mask, though she is unaware of the official orders. Yuri and Mayuko receive a bag containing weapons and food from an emotionless Mask. While Yuri sleeps, Mayuko and Rika discuss Yuri’s wellbeing and their alliance. A Masked Chef on a nearby roof plots to kidnap Mayuko. As Yuri and Mayuko move to another building, the Chef abducts Mayuko, but Yuri intervenes. The Chef reveals his mask has a defect, allowing him to retain his deranged will despite receiving orders. Yuri attacks him, but Mayuko kills the Chef brutally. Following signs to a room, they are confronted by humans until a rider Mask eliminates the group. When the Mask prepares to kill Yuri, Mayuko dons the defective mask to become an Angel, intending to kill Yuri, but the Mask takes the hit instead.

Feb 25, 2021The Mask breaks Mayuko’s disguise, showing her will remains intact. They defeat their opponent and wish for the world’s end. Sachio Tanabe approaches them, seeking revenge for allies killed by Kazuma Aohara’s Angel. He informs Yuri and Mayuko that Candidates typically control only one Angel, aiming to defeat Aohara. The Sniper Mask and Kuon observe from a nearby roof. Yuri confronts Aohara, who boasts about becoming the Perfect God and commands his Angel, Ein, to attack. Mayuko engages in combat while Yuri waits. As Ein tires, Aohara summons a second Angel, Zwei, but Yuri quickly kills it, remembering Rika’s earlier statement that Candidates can control multiple Angels. Desperate, Kuon activates a weapon, revealing a skyscraper is a railgun only she can access. She destroys a building, causing Aohara to believe Yuri did it. Yuri uses acting skills to force his surrender. Kuon vows to become the Perfect God. Elsewhere, Rikuya Yoshida seeks to ally with Rika, who learns that wearing a mouthless mask grants Candidate status.

After a library encounter where Mr. Mask kills a bat-wielding foe, the pair flees, misunderstanding his intent to ally. Flashbacks reveal Rika’s failed attempt to remove the Sniper’s mask and the Sniper’s forced transformation by Yayoi Kusakabe, who serves the Perfect God. Mayuko collapses, believing her alter-ego has taken over, and Yuri praises her friend before being stopped from jumping. A masked dealer diagnoses Mayuko’s condition as hibernation with less than two hours to live, saveable only by a Candidate. He directs Yuri to a mouthless mask to become one. While Yuri departs to find it, she is attacked by a skier Angel. Meanwhile, Kuon secretly saves Mayuko from hibernation, leaving Yuri unaware of the rescue as she continues her mission.

White Feather, an Aikawa Angel, duels Sniper Mask and gains the upper hand. Kuon prepares to fire her railgun to help, but Ein arrives at White Feather's roof, allowing Sniper Mask to escape unharmed. Kazuma Aohara suspects Yuri is nearby. A kid named Uzuki, Sachio Tanabe, and Aohara go to meet her. White Feather reports to Aikawa, who suspects the railgun user is on the east end near Yuri and proclaims himself the Perfect God. At the rendezvous, Mayuko confirms Kuon is the railgun user. Aikawa learns her location. The Sniper notes Yuri's growth. Kuon informs him Aikawa holds Rika hostage while Kusakabe begins the interrogation.
