The Mask breaks Mayuko’s disguise, showing her will remains intact. They defeat their opponent and wish for the world’s end. Sachio Tanabe approaches them, seeking revenge for allies killed by Kazuma Aohara’s Angel. He informs Yuri and Mayuko that Candidates typically control only one Angel, aiming to defeat Aohara. The Sniper Mask and Kuon observe from a nearby roof. Yuri confronts Aohara, who boasts about becoming the Perfect God and commands his Angel, Ein, to attack. Mayuko engages in combat while Yuri waits. As Ein tires, Aohara summons a second Angel, Zwei, but Yuri quickly kills it, remembering Rika’s earlier statement that Candidates can control multiple Angels. Desperate, Kuon activates a weapon, revealing a skyscraper is a railgun only she can access. She destroys a building, causing Aohara to believe Yuri did it. Yuri uses acting skills to force his surrender. Kuon vows to become the Perfect God. Elsewhere, Rikuya Yoshida seeks to ally with Rika, who learns that wearing a mouthless mask grants Candidate status.
