Ep. 8: Zastin recounts a cursed sword legend as Rito causes chaos at Saki's mansion

Zastin narrates a tale of a blood-cursed sword, after which Rin invites Mikan to help at Saki’s house due to staff illness. Mikan sends Rito, who immediately offends Saki by falling on her. While Momo and others assist, Rito discovers a shipment from Saki’s father and comments on Rin’s maid attire, leading to further trouble. Rin later opens the package to find a red and purple sword, which Zastin identifies as the cursed weapon from his story. Yami reveals it is actually a living weapon named Bladix that feeds on blood. Because Bladix is fused with Rin, destroying it would corrupt her mind permanently. Rito uses Psycho-Dive to enter Rin’s consciousness, sharing his protective feelings to break Bladix’s control. Mea forcibly separates the weapon, allowing Yami to defeat it. Zastin arrives late after receiving an emergency call.
