Ep. 9: Rin thanks Rito while Lala seeks advice on romance and attempts a kiss with him.

Rin expresses gratitude to Rito for saving her from Bladix, though he credits Yami. Lala worries about her progress with Rito and, following Peke’s advice, seeks to advance their relationship. She finds Rito being punished by Yami for groping Tearju and asks for his forgiveness. Momo, jealous that Rito notices Nana more than her, joins Lala and encourages her romantic efforts. Believing Lala must succeed for Momo’s harem plan, Momo teaches Lala about love using a visual novel. Lala teleports to Rito’s bath to ask for a kiss, but Rito slips and faints. Momo later apologizes, explaining the kiss was a universal sign of love. Nana observes Lala practicing on a doll. The next day, Rito tells Lala their love is not yet advanced enough for a kiss. Lala accepts this, kisses him on the cheek, and hopes he will respond eventually. Momo then decides to cooperate with Nana for help.
