Marcos Guerrero of the Holy Levamme Empire negotiates with the Council and Nina, noting her resemblance to the empress. He reveals his mission to find the Holy Spring, hindered by the resistant Sky Clan. A messenger delivers a truce offer: the Sky Clan will allow fleet passage if Nina is handed over, citing her prophesied role as Saint Aldista's daughter. Despite Council objections, Nina accepts to save the fleets. Kal-El and Ariel discuss the decision, with Ariel appearing distant. On departure day, Kal-El embraces Nina, promising to find the End of the Sky and her eventually. Ignacio vows to protect her in Kal-El's absence. The fleet passes through the Holy Spring to witness the End of the Sky, a rainbow phenomenon confirming their beliefs. After evacuating everyone, the island of Isla is reabsorbed into the phenomenon.
