He confronts Kal-El with harsh truths about avoiding responsibility, shocking him. Nina struggles to regain her wind control abilities. With few pilots remaining, Admiral Melze assigns students to scout enemy forces, prompting Sonia to resign and urge evacuation due to the suicide nature of the mission. Despite her plea, Benjamin, Ignacio, Noriaki, and Kal-El volunteer to fly. The military observation plane is shot down, leaving only two training aircraft airborne. Complicating matters, an enemy battleship deploys a smokescreen that creates significant confusion at Isla HQ.
