Masaya experiences prophetic dreams, including one where he joins the team and another showing Ichigo crying. Despite Ryou's protests and Zakuro's concerns, his first dream comes true, and he becomes a member of the Mew Project. The group investigates a strange light from a river to determine if it is mew aqua, while aliens also arrive at the location. During the ensuing battle, Mew Pudding and Tart enter the river to search for the substance but find none. Mew Ichigo uses her attack to enhance the Blue Knight's sword power, allowing him to destroy the chimera animas controlled by Pie. The light vanishes, the aliens depart, and the Mew Mew remain puzzled by the events.
