Ep. 52: Masaya sacrifices himself to defeat Deep Blue and save Earth

Masaya and Ichigo discover the final mew aqua resides within Masaya, but Deep Blue’s spirit reemerges and overpowers him. Deep Blue intends to activate the aqua to destroy Earth, forcing Masaya’s spirit to emerge and instruct Ichigo to attack, a move that kills both him and Deep Blue. Before dying, Masaya confesses his love and desire to save the planet. The released mew aqua heals the city, wounds, and revived aliens, returning Masaya’s body to normal. Ichigo kisses him, transferring all her power to revive him, but he initially finds her dead. The other Mew Mews arrive, only to revert to normal forms as the base collapses. Quiche, Pie, and Tart appear with the last mew aqua, teleporting the girls to safety and destroying the base. Masaya kisses Ichigo, who wakes up, revealing their powers only faded temporarily before they learn of a new enemy.
