Ep. 18: Takemichi confronts Baji while Mikey plans to recruit him before Bloody Halloween

Draken reveals that Kazutora killed Baji during the October 31, 2005 Bloody Halloween conflict, a battle lost because Mikey killed Kazutora in rage. This defeat caused the Tokyo Manji Gang to be absorbed into Valhalla, now a crime syndicate led by Mikey and Kisaki. Takemichi travels back in time with Chifuyu to face Baji, who pledges loyalty to Valhalla. Takemichi confesses his failure to Mikey, but at a pre-conflict meeting, Mikey decides the gang must recruit Baji rather than fight him. On the day of the battle, the gangs meet at a junkyard. Before the match starts, Kazutora knocks out the referee, and the fight begins immediately.
