Sandy asks Maxwell if he likes someone after he reads a love story written by his owner, Yume. Maxwell blushes because he has feelings for her, but he denies it by asking why he would like a girl. Sandy leaves the room feeling sad. She discusses the incident with Bijou and Pashmina, who advise her to never give up and to never change her feelings. Later, the Ham-Hams leave Sandy and Maxwell alone under the stars at night. The episode ends with the question of whether Maxwell will be able to tell Sandy that he loves her just as much as she loves him.
