On Labor Day, Laura and her mother aim to give Mrs. Haruna a break from chores. While Laura’s mother relaxes and recalls past autumn outings, Hamtaro encounters Bijou and the other Ham-Hams. The group travels to the mountains to collect nuts and colorful leaves to bring autumn to Mrs. Haruna. During the collection, Hamtaro slips while reaching for a perfect maple leaf and dangles precariously over a steep cliff. Simultaneously, a storm begins to brew, and heavy rain threatens to wash away the furry friends as they face the dangers of the treacherous terrain.
