Laura notices flying carp wind-socks in her neighborhood and asks her mother for permission to install one at home, but is denied. The following day, Grandpa Woody visits and shares a childhood memory of dreaming about riding a flying fish through the sky. Inspired by this story, Laura and Grandpa Woody decide to construct a mechanical flying carp together. Their collaborative project becomes an inventive adventure as they work to bring the concept to life. Despite their enthusiasm and efforts, the construction process proves difficult, and their attempts to create the device do not proceed smoothly. The pair continues their experiment despite the challenges they face during the building phase.
