Vector Prime informs Optimus Prime that the children pursued Sideways. Leobreaker confronts Megatron alone, discovering he is fully restored by Unicron's armor. Megatron manipulates Leobreaker's emotions to create Nemesis Breaker, leading to a fierce battle that ends with Leobreaker defeated. Optimus Prime dismisses Scourge to focus on Megatron. Meanwhile, Vector Prime confirms with Colonel Franklin that the volcano is clear. Coby and Bud struggle to retrieve a floating mini-communicator. Finally, Optimus Prime realizes the battle with Dark Claw Megatron was a ruse to escape toward the Omega Lock.
