Upon completing his training, Mutta receives a proposal from Mr. Butler to join the backup crew for the International Space Station. Although this path offers a quicker route to space, it delays his goal of reaching the moon. Unsure of his decision, Mutta requests time to consider the offer. Ultimately, he follows his heart to decline the position and suggests that Serika take his place instead. Later, Vince confronts Mutta, revealing that Mr. Butler has secured a temporary spot for him within the engineering section. Discovering this assignment leaves Mutta feeling discouraged. However, after receiving some words of wisdom from Vince before he departs, Mutta successfully regains his determination to pursue his original ambitions.
