Following the departure of Dessler and the cessation of Gamilas hostilities, the Yamato finally reaches Iscandar. Queen Starsha hesitates to provide the promised assistance after observing that Earthlings utilized the technology she entrusted to them as a weapon of mass destruction. After reaching a decision, Starsha reveals the ultimate fate of Kodai's brother to him. Meanwhile, the crew of the Yamato prepares for the long journey back to Earth.
