Ep. 13: Ushio Rests at Bakery Before Reuniting with Kamaitachi Siblings and Facing Mountain Youkai Leader

Ushio recovers at a small town bakery after escaping youkai and saving an old man. He shares his burdens regarding the spear's impact. Reuniting with the Kamaitachi siblings, the group resists youkai forces until Tora intervenes to facilitate their escape. A mist then transports Ushio to the mountain youkai leader's mansion. The leader explains the history behind the vengeance, revealing that Ushio's mother belongs to a lineage responsible for maintaining a barrier that keeps Hakumen no Mono dormant while preventing other youkai from attacking it. Following Tora's battle against Hitotsuki, the remaining youkai concede and permit Ushio to proceed with his journey.
