Ep. 14: Hakumen no Mono sends familiars to destroy the Beast Spear and its wielder.

Sensing the Beast Spear's arrival, Hakumen no Mono dispatches hiyou to eliminate the weapon and its user. Ushio meets Seikimori Hinowa, a successor trained by the Kouhamei sect, who demands the spear because she believes Ushio's lack of training endangers others. Ushio surrenders the weapon, but Hinowa fails when facing a stronger hiyou that refuses to empower her. Ushio and Tora rescue her, leading Hinowa to briefly acknowledge Ushio's value. As they proceed, Tora is diverted by a duel with another successor, Akiba Nagare. Tora wins the fight and explains that he stays with Ushio because their time together is never boring.
