Ep. 12: Vanitas spares Noé while Mikhail loses control of his grimoire and leaves with Count of St Germain.

Vanitas hesitates to kill Noé, while Mikhail’s grimoire power runs wild until Dominique uses ice to shield everyone. Mikhail attacks Vanitas, but Noé injures Mikhail’s face. A teacher appears as Count of St Germain, revealing he saved Mikhail, and departs with him. The following day, Mikhail finds Vanitas and Noé on the rooftop. Vanitas states he killed Luna because the Blue Moon Vampire was cursed by an unknown person. He explains that seeking this culprit drives his work with cursed vampires and refuses Mikhail’s offer to join him. After Mikhail leaves, Vanitas reflects on his past, vows to continue his quest, and apologizes to Noé, whom he now considers a friend.
