Ep. 2: Vivy saves Aikawa to prevent AI war while avoiding timeline changes

Matsumoto warns Vivy that Aikawa’s death triggers rapid AI evolution leading to future war, whereas saving him prevents the AI Naming law. Vivy rescues Aikawa from the collapsing AI company building while Toak pursues them. Matsumoto hacks attackers' goggles to fake Aikawa’s death and detonates bombs at the entrance to stall enemies. Despite being an enemy, Vivy saves Yugo Kakitani from falling debris, adhering to her mission to spread happiness and never kill. With the entrance blocked, Vivy and Aikawa escape by collapsing the building to force attackers to flee, then jump from the roof to a neighboring structure. Shortly after, Vivy learns Momoka’s passenger plane is about to explode due to a fuel leak but is forbidden by Matsumoto from intervening to avoid unnecessary timeline alterations.
