Ep. 3: Vivy investigates a space hotel crash plot involving a rogue AI named Estella

Fifteen years after Vivy saved Aikawa, new AI rights laws exist. Matsumoto tasks Vivy with stopping the space hotel Sunrise from crashing due to a rogue AI named Estella. Vivy infiltrates the hotel but doubts Estella’s guilt. Employee Leclerc falsely accuses Estella of killing the previous owner, who actually died in an accident. Vivy meets Momoka’s sister Yuzuka, who recognizes her as Diva. Leclerc is revealed to be cooperating with Estella to crash the hotel. Estella suddenly beheads and kills Leclerc. Vivy remains bitter about Momoka’s death but continues her mission to prevent the disaster and the resulting mass AI backlash.
