Logan and Min escape the Vadhaka statue with Yukio's help, after which Min blinds the creature. In the sewers, Master Kou and his allies aid Logan, enabling Kou's group to liberate Madripoor. Following a briefing on Logan's origins and past by Kou, a transmission arrives stating that Yukio has been captured by Hideki's men. The message warns that she will be killed if Logan does not surrender himself to them.
