A flashback reveals Norman’s transfer to Peter Ratri at Lambda 7214, where he planned a facility escape using a bomb. In the present, Emma, Ray, Don, and Gilda track Sonju and Mujika using bird migration patterns. Norman releases a drug early, causing demons to degenerate and burn the city. He confronts a demon girl, but her blind grandfather, who shares Mujika’s blood abilities, stops her degeneration. This act makes Norman hesitate about killing all demons. Emma and Ray return to the city, where Emma sees an apparition of Norman as a frightened child and realizes he still requires her assistance.
