Ep. 1: Takashi seeks advice on quitting his disturbing job inspecting mannequin heads before a terrifying incident occurs.

Takashi asks a friend for guidance on quitting his factory job inspecting mannequin heads, some of which talk and scream in agony. After Takashi leaves for beer, his friend hears a female voice from a duffle bag begging him to convince Takashi to stay or face burning. The bag contains mannequin parts that refuse to let him leave until he agrees. Terrified, the friend threatens them with a lighter. When Takashi returns, he finds his apartment burned down. His boss provides new housing, creating an obligation to remain at work. Consequently, Takashi continues his job, though now many more mannequin heads are talking.
