Ep. 4: Ritsuko Foils Gargantua's Sacrifice of Princess Mariel

Ritsuko serves Princess Mariel, who becomes enamored with Gargantua, now an alchemist. Gargantua attempts to sacrifice Mariel, but Ritsuko intervenes to stop the ritual. Despite the rescue, Mariel is transformed into a half-demon. Overcome by her condition, she takes her own life. Following her death, Lilith appears before Gargantua. She accepts Mariel’s soul as payment for the transaction. This sequence of events concludes with the princess's demise and the fulfillment of Lilith's demand. The narrative highlights the tragic outcome of Gargantua's actions and Ritsuko's failed protection, resulting in the princess's transformation and subsequent suicide.
