Oct 2, 2003Hazuki Azuma harbors romantic feelings for her adopted older sister, Hatsumi. On the morning of Hatsumi's sixteenth birthday, she vanishes without a trace. Driven by her attraction and concern, Hazuki embarks on a journey across different worlds to find her. She is accompanied by two distinct companions: Ken, a bird who speaks with a Kansai dialect, and Lilith, a character known as Eve who is distinguished by her hat. The group travels together in an effort to locate the missing sister and uncover the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Oct 9, 2003During a train journey, Yoko defeats the Colonel and receives aid from a Siberian Tiger who transports Adam to her location. They are subsequently held at gunpoint by the train conductor and a drunk individual, both of whom are revealed to be undercover spies. All companions are killed in the ensuing conflict, but the Siberian Tiger betrays Yoko as a double agent and throws her through a window. After recovering, Yoko teams up with Hazuki to defeat the tiger. Hazuki, who previously assisted Adam, supports Yoko in locating a bomb and provides a decoder upon reaching their destination.

EP 11Hazuki and Lilith land on a planet with animal DNA samples and meet Tamamo no Mae.
Dec 14, 2003With Lilith's assistance, the ship warps to a suitable planet. Hazuki discovers that an Eve incarnation named Lular appeared and vanished on board a century ago. The children land on the planet carrying DNA samples of Earth's animals. Later, Lilith and Hazuki arrive in the universe garden. They encounter Gargantua, his trolls, Mariel, and Tamamo no Mae. Tamamo no Mae easily removes Lilith's Hat, causing her to cry.
EP 12Gargantua resolves conflicts over Jill and chooses Ritsuko for a happy immortal life.
Dec 18, 2003Gargantua, Hazuki, and Lilith argue over Jill, also known as Hatsumi or Eve, until she intervenes. She allows Tamamonomae to return the Hat to her head, causing her to vanish back to the Great Library. Her disappearance generally causes no major issues in the worlds she visited, except for the three pursuers who followed her across dimensions. She then attempts to rectify the situation. Meanwhile, Gargantua finally recognizes that he loves Ritsuko rather than Jill. He rescues her from her cell and transforms his world into a bright, cheerful environment. Gargantua and Ritsuko, who appear to have become immortal through the Door of Eve, are able to live together happily ever after in this new reality.
EP 13Lilith confronts Eve about abandonment while Hazuki reunites with Hatsumi after a timeline reset.
Dec 25, 2003Lilith expresses anger toward Eve for leaving her in the Great Library for tens of thousands of years, prompting Eve to attempt reconciliation. Lilith observes that Eve misses Hazuki, who has not returned to the correct book-world. Meanwhile, Hazuki reflects on her dreamlike adventures alone until she sees Hatsumi returning to the house. Although history appears to repeat itself like a universe reset, Hatsumi does not glow or disappear at midnight. Instead, the two share a passionate kiss and cuddle. Hazuki wakes up the next day with no memory of the events but notices signs indicating Hatsumi’s future rebirth as her child.
