Jody wins with an ippon, while Teleshikova surprises observers with a collar strangle. Kuniko meets a stranger delivering a letter to Jigoro. The semifinals pit Yawara against Belkins and Teleshikova against Jody. Matsuda searches the arena for Kojiro after learning about the letter.
