Mahiru feels embarrassed about joining JELEE while her sister notices her returning to illustration. At a cafe, Kano and Mahiru discuss funding, realizing they need 900,000 yen. A superfan named Mei offers 100,000 yen, urging Kano to return to idol activities, but Kano refuses. After a bag mix-up reveals Mei’s musical talent, the trio meets again. Mei agrees to compose if Kano sings as an idol rather than for JELEE. Flashbacks show Mei, formerly Kimura, struggled in middle school until Kano’s persona helped her. Kano and Mahiru attend Mei’s piano exam, where Kano addresses her by her real name, Kimura. Feeling understood beyond her idol image, Mei Kim officially joins JELEE as their composer.
