Ep. 1: Onoda travels to Akiba weekly by bike to buy anime goods despite hating sports

Onoda Sakamichi commutes ninety round trips to Akiba on his mother’s bicycle each week to purchase anime merchandise. He despises athletic teams, believing himself physically incapable and viewing clubs as overly violent. Upon entering Chiba Sohoku Public High School, he seeks membership in the anime and manga club, only to discover it is suspended due to insufficient participants. He attempts to revive the club but encounters Imaizumi Shunsuke, an unexpected cyclist who intends to join the racing team and seek revenge on Midousuji for a past defeat. Meanwhile, Kanzaki Miki and Tachibana Aya appear and question Onoda’s decision to cycle to Akiba instead of using public transportation.
