Ep. 5: Onoda joins Sōhoku High cycling club while balancing anime club dreams

Onoda returns to school and encounters Naruko, who urges him to join the cycling club. Although he intends to apply the following day, he remains hesitant to abandon his anime club aspirations. After observing the team practice, Onoda becomes curious about his own competitive potential. He meets Terufumi Sugimoto, a senior offering guidance based on his three years of experience. Upon submitting his application, Onoda meets fellow first-years Kawada and Sakurai. His initial challenge is the Welcoming Race, where he must compete against road racers while riding a bicycle provided by his mother.
