Yuugi and his allies reach the island as the Battle City finals restart. To determine the upcoming matchups, Yuugi, Jonouchi, Kaiba, and Marik engage in a four-way duel inside the Alcatraz duel tower. Kaiba seeks to defeat Ra by challenging Yuugi for the Egyptian God card Osiris. Jonouchi aims to save Kujaku Mai's soul by fighting Marik. Marik duels merely for the pleasure of destruction. Yuugi alone hesitates to choose his opponent, torn between saving the world, settling a rivalry, or honoring a promise to a friend.
