Zigfried stops Leon and hands him a card to add to his deck for the upcoming battle against Yugi for the World Champion title. Leon displays unusual bitterness and does not seem to enjoy the prospect, which is strange given his previous duel. During the match, he launches numerous attacks and replaces destroyed monsters with additional fairytale creatures. He also reveals that he is a Von Schroder. Despite these developments, Kaiba is unable to call off the match because doing so would violate the tournament rules.
