Leon explains that his desire to duel originated from feeling neglected by his family, who favored the gifted Zigfried. Seeking distraction, he immersed himself in fairytales and began dueling after creating a corresponding card set. He initially thought this effort would gain Zigfried’s respect, but his brother actually viewed him merely as a tool to destroy KaibaCorp. Driven by a determination to earn his elder brother's love, Leon activates the illegal Field Spell The Golden Castle of Stromberg. This move unleashes a powerful computer virus on KaibaCorp’s systems that rapidly deletes files and cannot be stopped by card or trap effects.
