Jesse and Hassleberry attempt to rescue Syrus while Jaden duels Axel. During the match, Axel reconsiders his allegiance to Viper and decides to play fairly. He releases Syrus to focus entirely on the duel. Jaden ultimately wins the encounter, but the victory comes at a significant cost. Jaden falls unconscious from the exertion, while Axel is left drained of energy yet still standing. Despite his physical state, Axel remains determined to uncover Viper's true intentions and plans.
