Ichigo aspires to work at Salon de Marie, a special salon at St. Marie Academy operated by the High School student council. However, her middle school status makes her chances slim. To help her forget her disappointment, Andou invites her to his family's Japanese confectionery. There, she discovers that Ichita, the eldest of Andou's 4 younger siblings, dislikes cake. Determined to understand his feelings, Ichigo decides to investigate the reasons behind his aversion to the dessert. This visit provides a distraction from her own career setbacks while allowing her to engage with Andou's family business and learn more about the preferences of his siblings.
