Flashbacks reveal that middle schooler Rin Shima received her first camping gear from her grandfather and attempted her debut trip at Lake Motosu. She faced difficulties preparing fire and cooking until her mother called regarding emergency rations, which proved to be a cup of curry-flavored instant noodles. In the present timeline, Nadeshiko Kagamihara takes on a part-time position at a post office alongside Ena Saitou. Meanwhile, Rin organizes a solo camping excursion to Iwata in Shizuoka Prefecture for New Year's Eve. During her journey, she meets Nadeshiko near a convenience store and is given a cup of instant noodles by her.
