Jan 7, 2021Flashbacks reveal that middle schooler Rin Shima received her first camping gear from her grandfather and attempted her debut trip at Lake Motosu. She faced difficulties preparing fire and cooking until her mother called regarding emergency rations, which proved to be a cup of curry-flavored instant noodles. In the present timeline, Nadeshiko Kagamihara takes on a part-time position at a post office alongside Ena Saitou. Meanwhile, Rin organizes a solo camping excursion to Iwata in Shizuoka Prefecture for New Year's Eve. During her journey, she meets Nadeshiko near a convenience store and is given a cup of instant noodles by her.

Jan 14, 2021After stopping at a tea house in Kakegawa, Rin travels to Fukuda Beach on New Year's Day and camps at Ryuyokaiyo Koen Auto Camping Ground. Meanwhile, Chiaki Ohgaki, Aoi Inuyama, her sister Akari, and advisor Minami Toba climb Mount Minobu to watch the first sunrise. Rin observes the dawn near a torii gate at the beach, while Nadeshiko works her postcard delivery job. Chiaki plans to see the Diamond Fuji at Fujikawa for a second sunrise, but the sun rises before they arrive. Rin’s mother warns her about frozen roads on the return to Minobu and notes that her grandfather will pick her up in two days.

That night, the trio visits an observation deck overlooking Lake Hamana. Rin shares her joy in solo camping. The next day, Rin's grandfather arrives to pick her up.

Her older sister Sakura treats her to shrimp tempura and recommends a hiring store. Nadeshiko eventually buys a gas lamp at Caribou and secretly purchases an oil-based reusable portable heater as a gift for Sakura to replace disposable pocket heaters.

Later, Nadeshiko grills foil-wrapped vegetables and shares them with two kids camping with their father. She views the city lights and sends a picture to her friends despite bad signal reception. After encountering each other and sneakily checking Nadeshiko's status, Rin and Sakura leave the campsite.

Mar 4, 2021Members of the Outdoor Activities Club start planning a March camping excursion to Izu, which coincides with the birthdays of Nadeshiko and Aoi. Rin and Ena choose to participate, with Ena disclosing her awareness of Rin's clandestine attendance at Nadeshiko's previous solo camping adventure. Due to traffic delays in Kawazu, Rin reaches Shimoda, the designated meeting point, before the others, but they eventually reunite and continue together. After purchasing food supplies, the group attempts to set up camp at Cape Toba for Ms. Toba’s seaside plan, but the landowner denies permission. They contact Mr. Iida for assistance, who arranges a new campsite owned by a friend on the west Izu shores. Before settling in, the group makes a stop at Hosono Highlands.

For dinner, Nadeshiko and Aoi prepare gambas al ajillo and red sea bream soup pasta. While the others sleep, Nadeshiko and Ena discuss their camping experiences and future plans. Rin wakes early to stroll around the cape, visit Sawada Park, and enjoy another hot spring bath before the day fully begins.

Mar 25, 2021After eating kaisendon for lunch, the group visits Dogashima and the tombolo of Sanshiro Island. They then travel to Darumayama Highlands, lodging at a campsite on the plateau near Mount Daruma. Ms. Toba and Akari take Nadeshiko and Aoi to Cape Mihama, while the others prepare dinner. Later that night, the group celebrates the birthdays of Nadeshiko and Aoi. The next morning, the group, excluding Ms. Toba and Akari, gathers on top of Mount Daruma to greet the sunrise.
13EP 13The group visits Iida's shop and Izu Cactus Zoo before Rin departs at Shuzenji.
Apr 1, 2021Before heading to Mount Oumuro, the group stops at Mr. Iida's wine shop. They then visit Izu Cactus Zoo so Akari can see capybaras. On the way home, Rin separates from the others at Shuzenji. The remaining members, traveling in Ms. Toba's car, return to their homes in Yamanashi Prefecture late at night, while Rin remains outside traveling back alone. Concerned, Nadeshiko decides to surprise Rin at Lake Motosu. There, the two friends discuss the conclusion of their recent Izu camping trip. This encounter allows them to reflect on the events of the journey while Rin continues her solitary return home.
